Vault Operations Center

• New Operations Center tab in the Vault: live status strip showing encryption state, total files secured, recent activity, and biometric availability.
• Defense Layers grid — six security layer cards (AES-256-GCM encryption, biometric lock, intruder capture, decoy mode, BIP39 recovery, audit logging) with live state for each.
• Defense Score gauge — visual indicator (0–100) of how hardened your vault is, based on enabled layers.
• Intruder log with front-camera thumbnails, timestamps, attempt method, and device info per failed attempt.

Bug fixes & polish

• Auto-Lock "Never" option now renders correctly in vault settings.
• Apple SCA (SensitiveContentAnalysis) branding made consistent on Scan tab.
• Fixed drag-and-drop crash when dragging from Photos.app via Quick Look (NSItemProvider edge case).
• About dialog DEBUG section now hidden in Release builds.
• Markdown rendering made consistent across all Legal documents.
• Old multi-tier pricing references removed from Terms & License Agreement (now reflects single "Unlock Everything" 399 SEK / $39.99 IAP).
• Dead code cleanup: ~280–350 lines removed from older draft features.

People Hub & Face Detection

• New People Hub with visual contact grid, smart filters, and Profile Completeness Engine.
• Import people from macOS Contacts.app or vCard files.
• Face Detection header redesigned: 64×64 gradient icon-circle, large title, How To button, action button placement.

Universal Stripping

• Mac pipeline switched from MetadataCleanerManager to unified StripperRouter: same code path on iOS and macOS for metadata stripping.
• First step toward Mac ↔ iOS sync foundation (CloudKit work begins after current sprint).
• Performance: ~30% faster batch metadata cleanup on libraries over 10,000 files.

App Store compliance

• Restore Purchases button added in sidebar paywall and Settings (Apple guideline 3.1.1 compliance).
• Hardcoded promo code list removed (PromoCodeManager.swift deleted) — promo codes now go through App Store Connect only.

Freemium model

• App is now free to download and free to scan everything.
• Single In-App Purchase: Unlock Everything for $39.99 one-time (com.clarityapp.ClarityNew.unlock).
• Free tier: scan everything, see all results, remove 15 duplicates, vault up to 5 files, 3 person searches per day.
• Paid tier: unlimited everything plus full Compliance Suite (GDPR exports, audit trail), Auto-Redact PII, clean exports without watermark.
• Replaces previous 3-tier model ($39 / $79 / $499).

Earlier versions (Build 1–20, December 2024–April 2026) were paid-only and are no longer distributed.
If you have an older Build installed, the App Store will offer the freemium upgrade automatically.
