Is my data stored in the cloud?
No — not unless you turn it on. iCloud sync is off until you enable it, and with sync off your files never leave your device. With sync on, your content travels end-to-end encrypted through your own iCloud, unreadable to anyone, Apple and us included.
What macOS version do I need?
Clarity requires macOS 14.6 (Sonoma) or later.
How does Face Detection work?
Clarity uses Apple's Vision framework to detect and recognize faces locally on your device. No data is sent to any server.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I unlock the Privacy Vault?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Enable Vault. Your vault opens only with your password, by design — biometrics unlock the app, never the encrypted vault.

Life Happens helps you create meaningful exports for life transitions — memorial pages for loved ones, separation documentation, employment transition packages, and GDPR compliance exports.
