Is my data uploaded to the cloud?

No. Clarity processes everything locally on your Mac. Your photos, files, and face recognition data never leave your device. We don't have servers that store your data.
How accurate is face recognition?

Clarity achieves approximately 85-90% accuracy using Apple's Vision framework. The more faces you tag for a person, the more accurate it becomes. You can adjust the confidence threshold in settings.
What file formats are supported?

Clarity supports 50+ file formats including: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, RAW (CR2, NEF, ARW, etc.), PDF, Word documents, and more. For face detection, any image format supported by macOS works.
Can I use Clarity offline?

Yes! After initial download and license activation, Clarity works completely offline. All AI processing happens locally using Apple's frameworks.
How do I restore deleted files?

Clarity has a full undo system. After any file operation, press ⌘Z or use the Undo button to reverse the action. Files moved to Private Vault can be restored by moving them back out.
What's the difference between Pro and Enterprise?

Pro includes unlimited face recognition, advanced duplicate detection, Private Vault, and Emotional Export. Enterprise adds Auto-Redact PII (mask personal IDs in 30+ formats), GDPR compliance tools, unlimited scheduled tasks, and priority support.
Does Clarity work on Apple Silicon?

Yes! Clarity is a Universal app optimized for both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs. It requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Mac App Store. Go to System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to manage or cancel your Clarity Pro subscription.
