Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. Clarity processes everything 100% locally on your Mac. Your photos, face data, and personal information never leave your device.

What macOS version do I need?

Clarity requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later.

How does Face Detection work?

Clarity uses Apple's Vision framework to detect and recognize faces locally on your device. No data is sent to any server.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I unlock the Privacy Vault?

Go to Settings → Privacy → Enable Vault. You can use Face ID, Touch ID, or a password to protect your sensitive files.
